Version 1.12.6 Nov 11, 2024

This is a hotfix release to address the issues present in v1.12.5 firmware.

Changes:

  1. Fixed bug where SNMP sysUpTime is incorrect at bootup.  Also reload the SNMP service when any device name or location is changed so that the new settings are picked up.
  2. Added deviceUptime, a field that represents the number of seconds since the device was last rebooted, to the systems-ext part of the SNMP private MIB.  The MIB has been updated here.
  3. Fixed a bug that prevented a backed up config archive from being restored in the UI.

Version 1.12.5 Sept 10, 2024

This is a minor release that incorporates the new features and bug fixes listed below.

Changes (final, rev 54708) 9/10/24:

  1. Fix bug in UI that prevented config backup from being displayed.
  2. Fix bug some display issues related to config test mode. (also in beta2 r54704, 8/19/24)

Changes (beta 1, rev 54704) 8/9/24:

  1. VLAN logic has been updated so that:
    • You can now designate which VLAN you want to set as the management VLAN on the device.
    • VLAN 1 now has a dedicated entry so that you can remove native access to a port once management VLAN is enabled on another VLAN ID.
    • You can now set an access policy on the management VLAN.
    • Note: these changes are not compatible with firmware downgrade, unless you reset to defaults.
  2. Add support for advanced time zones and RADIUS authentication.  Refer to the Web UI manual for more information.
  3. Add support for ifHighSpeed-related octet counters in SNMP.
  4. Re-work the dashboard to separate out system resources from device info.  Also, show additional information about the SFP+ module (such as laser output power), and show indicators for any PoE out port faults.  A new firmware indicator is also added in this version. (similar to the TNA firmware).
  5. Add a new "config test mode" to the UI to allow you to test settings before committing them.
  6. The public API version has been bumped up to 1.0.2 to support new config keys.
  7. Fix various UI and utility bugs.

Known issues:

  1. SNMP sysUpTime is incorrect at bootup and will only show the correct value once the SNMP service is restarted (this will happen if you disable/enable SNMP, or change some other settings which will trigger it to reload).
  2. There is a bug preventing a backed up config to successfully be applied from the UI.

A hotfix release is expected by Nov 8th, 2024 to address both of these known issues.

  7. Some link stability improvements were made to the 4 PoE-out ports.

Version 1.12.2  Aug. 30, 2023

Changes (final):

  1. Update management VLAN logic: change the default management VLAN port policy options from "Access/None" to "Trunk/None" (behavior doesn't actually change, just the label), and allow users to set a port's policy to trunk on the management VLAN when that same port has an access policy set on a different VLAN.
  2. Fix inaccurate eth0/eth5 port stats bug.
  3. Add public API support for configuration.
  4. Update SNMP private MIB paths and definition file.
  5. Add support for 1G SFP modules (enabling this requires a reboot to take affect).  See the Web UI manual for more information.

  7. Add support for SNMP traps.
